We all come into this lifetime with a Life Plan. It has a beginning and an ending. There are those who believe that your date of death is set at the time you enter, but Spirit explains this to me in a little different way.

I am told that we have an approximate life span, with several exit points built into it. The choices we make during our lives determine the exact length of our time here. We come into this lifetime with a very long list of things that we want to accomplish. Our soul, or higher-self, is very motivated for growth and advancement of karmic healing in this lifetime. You created karma with those in your soul group, as well as others, through many lifetimes. In each additional lifetime, you are given the opportunity to heal what you created in past life times.

Karma is energy that you have the choice of creating through your actions. You can create either negative or positive energy, but whichever energy you create, it will be returned to you in that same form. You will be given opportunities to heal your karma or help someone else heal the karma that they created.

Our Life Plan also holds a long list of people, especially those of our soul group, with whom we have previously agreed to interact in this lifetime. God gave us (humanity) free will to create our lives and to make our own choices, but we must learn that each choice will carry consequences. It is best if we can learn this principle of cause and effect early in our lives. To illustrate this principle, Spirit shows me the vision of a stone being dropped into a pool of water, and how its ripple effect changes the energy of the entire body of water. This is how the choices we make affect us and all of those around us. No matter how large or small the stone, the energy or choices it creates will affect others; this is how karma works.

I have been with people that appeared to be on death's doorstep; nonetheless, they continued their lives. When I questioned Spirit about this miraculous recovery; they explained to me that it was not that person's time to leave. The purpose of the illness was to bring an issue to their attention, giving them and those around them the opportunity to learn something from the experience and the emotions the experience created. Sometimes, when a person is close to death and it may be their time to leave, they are given an extension of time in which to accomplish something that had been left undone. It is not unusual to see those who are near to death given extra days as an opportunity to say goodbye or to heal some issue with family members. I am told that their soul actually has this choice, showing us that even in death God gives us choices.

Our higher-self/soul knows the timing of our impending death, and our soul begins to prepare us in subtle ways. Our consciousness is seldom aware of the decisions that we make leading up to the destiny of our death. When looking back at choices made or the actions people have taken even prior to an unexpected death, we will often see a level of preparation that even the dying person was unaware of.

A loved one may seem to have died in an accidental way, but the timing of the death was not an accident. The experience of their death was only the vehicle through which they left. It was part of their Life Plan. What others experience through their loved ones life and death is part of their own life purpose.

For the completion of our life purpose, we are given assistance by Spirit, our angels, guides and loved ones in spirit. This is a very powerful group that God has given us. We need to value and draw upon their wisdom and guidance.

There is a purpose for every challenge that we endure in our life, right up to our death. Sometimes, as the soul understands that it is time to leave, the person may choose to go suddenly, wishing not to endure the trauma and suffering, or not to have their family endure the long suffering trauma of their imminent death. The soul understands death, and there is no fear, because the soul sees death as the completion of a plan.

For many years I have been working with people, helping them heal all types of issues. My work is channeled from Spirit, so it is not my knowledge that will assist you in your healing ; it is the power of Spirit. We do not do the healing for you; rather, we assist you in releasing the mental, emotional or physical blockages that are preventing you from healing yourself. God created the human body as an energy-being, able to heal itself. He provided this healing ability through the function of the chakra system. Chakras are the power points in your body that generate a life force energy that provides the human body with the necessary energy of life. This energy works to maintain your bodily functions, to sustain life and to heal the body itself. The chakra system can become energetically blocked or weakened by stress, trauma, illness or negative emotions. The energy of the emotional memories (positive and negative) of our childhood is held in these chakras --- an accumulation of negative energy creates a blockage, preventing our bodies from being able to heal a disease or to release pain from an injury. This negative energy can also be held in the cellular structure of the body as well as in the chakra system. These negative energies must be released to enable us to heal. Grief is a trauma that can weaken or block the energy of the chakra system.

Spirit uses many different methods to do their healing work, inasmuch as each person has different needs. We use Reiki and Spirit energy in combination with other healing tools to help our clients. Communicating with the other side is also a very powerful healing tool. I will be sharing with you stories that my clients have written about their healing experiences. I have changed the names for protection of their privacy. I understand that some stories may challenge your belief system, but they are all true.

For some of you, death is a very sensitive subject at this time, since you may have recently suffered through the trauma of losing someone close to you. Certainly, the experience of this loss makes you very aware of the many different emotions we experience as we move through the grieving process. If this is the case for you, I encourage you to read the book slowly, processing the information as you go along.

When I invited my clients to share their experiences with grief and their healing stories through my book, I had no idea what beautiful stories would come forth. Each time I sit down with someone and open the doorway to the other side, I always ask in prayer that healing will occur for all parties involved in whatever way they need it. I trust this to be Spirit's gift to us as I have witnessed tremendous healing come to souls on both sides when given the opportunity to interact after death. We will begin with Sherri's story. I first met Sherri at a psychic fair where I was doing intuitive readings. The psychic fairs I attend are very spiritual events where like-minded people gather to share their intuitive God-given gifts. Quite often, during the readings in which I give my clients messages from their angels and spirit guides, a loved one in spirit will come from the other side to give a message. This is what happened for Sherri; her deceased mother came forward and gave words of love and encouragement. It was a few days later that I received a call from Sherri saying she wanted to give her father a session with me for his birthday. I was delighted to be a part of the healing that came through that session. Here is her story. In this particular story I have left the names and places as Sherri wrote them.
